Terms & conditions

  1. Elevation Ski School (‘Elevation’) is an intermediary between clients and independent, self-employed ski instructors who provide the ski instruction services covered by your booking.

  2. Your contract is directly with the Instructor with whom you are booked. Elevation does not provide ski instruction services directly and is not an employer or contracting party for any lesson arrangements. All ski instruction and related services are supplied directly by the Instructor named in your booking.

  3. A booking is made with the Instructor when reserved via email or online via the Instructor’s individual booking page ('the scheduling platform'). When booking via email, you may be charged a 50% deposit at the time of booking, which is fully refundable in the event of a valid cancellation. When booking via the scheduling platform, no payment is taken but the lesson(s) will be secured by providing your card details.

  4. To protect your card data, neither the Instructor nor Elevation store your details. All payments are securely processed through Stripe, which is fully PCI DSS compliant.

  5. After booking, you can cancel or reschedule a lesson on the scheduling platform up to 14 days before the due date of the ski lesson(s) (‘the cancellation period’). After the end of the cancellation period, any requests for cancellations or rescheduling must be made in writing to: info@elevationskischool.com

  6. Full and final payment for your booking falls due on completion of the lesson(s) and is made directly with the Instructor with whom you are booked. Elevation holds no client funds.

  7. In the event of a “no show” by the client, full payment for the lesson(s) will be taken using the card details provided when making the reservation online via the scheduling platform.

  8. Neither the Instructor nor Elevation is responsible for events beyond their control, including weather or lift closures. Subject to our discretion, refunds are generally not given for accidents, illness, or other uncontrollable cancellations, but we can provide a supporting letter for your insurance.

  9. Although every effort will be made by the office to keep clients well-informed, it is the client’s responsibility to ensure they know the meeting point and time of the lesson and to make themselves known to the instructors.
